Paint Protection Film

What is PPF?

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent polyurethane plastic film that is applied to paint, headlights, piano black plastic parts, chrome parts, etc. of the vehicle, protecting it against scratches, UV rays, vandalism, bird droppings, bugs, car wash swirl marks and eveything that comes in contact to the surface. Best part is that it's practically invisible.

Paint Protection Film (PPF), also known as Clear Bra, is a highly durable, self-healing film that provides superior protection against damage caused by road debris and other environmental factors. It is the perfect solution for preventing surface scratches, dents, chips, and more.

Additionally, PPF helps retain your car's original paint job, ensuring that it looks brand new for years to come.

Environmental conditions and daily use gradually damage the good condition of the paint.

PPF is the best solution to keep your paint looking new by preventing damage from scratches and scuffs from everyday use. As well as rock chips damage on the front bumper, hood and headlights.

Paint Protection Film has self-healing properties by applying heat when scratched and damaged, making it last for an average of 8 years.

It's usually applied to the front area of the car as it is the most exposed area, but it can be applied completely to protect every panel.

How Does It Work?

The key material in this product is polyurethane, a powerful and versatile polymer made of carbonate bonds.

As a composite, it has unique attributes: it is lightweight and transparent, like plastic. But unlike plastic, it is not brittle or susceptible to tears and cracks. It has high resistance to impact, abrasion and corrosion. It is also incredibly flexible and can return to its natural shape after being stretched or disfigured. The material is absolutely transparent, so that only an increase in the gloss of the paint is visible.

As a second element we have the acrylic adhesive, this layer is located at the bottom of the polyurethane and serves to give it flexibility, so that it can stretch and wrap any surface. This material also provides durability, so the film does not come off over time.

Another very important point to highlight is the self-healing capacity of the material. This means that the film has memory, so that minor scratches disappear because the material deforms and subsequently returns to its original position.
